1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Google Account Information — Your name, email address, and profile picture, obtained when you sign in with Google.
• Google Drive Access — Read-only access to files in your Google Drive solely to locate and stream music files. We never read, copy, or store your file contents on our servers.
• App Preferences — Your favorites, playback preferences, and "not music" flags, stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate Drive Music Player:

• Authenticating you and maintaining your session
• Scanning your Google Drive for audio files you can play
• Saving your in-app preferences locally on your device
• Displaying your profile name and photo within the app

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Google Drive Data

Drive Music Player requests read-only access to your Google Drive (scope: drive.readonly). This allows us to list and stream your audio files. We do not:

• Upload, modify, or delete any files in your Drive
• Store your Drive files or their contents on our servers
• Share your Drive data with any third party

Your Google OAuth access token is stored securely on your device and used exclusively to communicate with Google's APIs.

4. Local Storage

All personalization data — favorites, playback history, and hidden tracks — is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

5. Third-Party Services

Drive Music Player uses Google Sign-In and the Google Drive API. Your use of these services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your profile information only for the duration of your signed-in session. Signing out removes your account data from the app. Local preferences are cleared when you uninstall the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Drive Music Player is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw your Google account authorization at any time via your Google Account settings

You can revoke Drive Music Player's access to your Google account at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Drive Music Player after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
